Concentration

Secretly there's only one heh heh

there are three kids on toilet seats. Supposed to represent the three stages of kiddy pooing (ha kinda): sitting, pooing, then looking at your poo. It's supposed to be funny

My concentration is chairs: how they represent people for who they are, body language, the lack of a chair, and the different types of chairs that pertain to different people. In this case, the "potty" chair is addressed.

I saw this piece in class! It is awesome. I love it. It's obvious you are having fun with the different types of chairs. Your work is really fun to look at every month. Love the contrast between the toilet paper and the child. Can't wait to see more!

this is so great. you succeeded in making me laugh:) it is a creative take on chairs and you're really exploring your concentration...i would never have thought of a toilet as chairs. i see GROWTH.YAY. the idea of matting the lil kids in toiletpaper windows is what really makes this more than just a piece of chair art--it unifies the piece as a whole and i love the humor in it. you're gonna go far laurreeeennnn.

I love this piece!!! So great! i think the fact that you put it on toilet paper makes it sooo much better, and makes you get what its about a ton better....
The colors of the chair and the people being super white make them really pop out, so do the different textures. Can't really think of a way to make it better.....maybe have them pop out more...?

There's a very good use of Shape in this piece. The circular nature of the compostion that reveals the motions as the viewer rotates around the piece relates a great deal with old Zoetrope contraptions of the old years. Shape wise I dig your simplicity and Movement is very strong throughout the whole thing. You must be getting "Jacked" to go to art school right?
Keep up the good work and eat your vegetables.

This is so awesome!!!! I love how the three dimensional aspect of the piece relates to the two dimensional images. I like how all of your pieces fit together so easily and yet are so different. your choice of colors is also very appealing. and makes the piece pop! something i always struggle with. congrats on the sweet new pieces!

Did I ever tell you how much I love this piece? It is really great. Stop hating art! Or don't because its kinda funny (but makes me sad) :( This is one of my favorite pieces of the year, from anybody. And you rock at art! Is this real toilet paper? Or just rolled up material?
